Kristen Suding - Owner & Principal Designer

A proud Muncie native, Kristen graduated from Ball State University in 2006 with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture. She began her career at D2P, a commercial design firm, where she honed her skills for five years before taking time to raise her family.

In 2012, Kristen turned her passion into her own business—originally Kristen Suding Designs—before rebranding to Inland Interiors in 2017 to reflect a growing team and an evolving vision. In 2019, she opened Inland’s downtown Muncie studio, where she and her team create thoughtful, personalized interiors for homes and businesses alike.

Deeply rooted in her community, Kristen loves contributing to Muncie’s vibrant downtown. When she’s not designing, you’ll find her cheering on her kids from the sidelines, soaking up the sunshine by the water, or gathering fresh inspiration from everyday life.

  • Laura McCullaugh

    Designer & Project Manager

    Laura is a Ball State graduate with a background in Interior Design and Business Management. She’s the ultimate “Swiss Army knife” of the studio—equally skilled at pulling together the perfect tile samples as she is at hanging artwork with precision.

    A Muncie native, Laura brings a fresh perspective and plenty of hometown pride to every project. Her hands-on approach and can-do attitude make her an essential part of Inland’s creative process.

    Junior Designer

    Mya, a recent Interior Design graduate from Ball State University, proudly calls Indianapolis home. She loves being part of a collaborative, creative team and is passionate about designs that reflect each client’s personality.

    With a talent for translating inspiration into beautiful, livable spaces, Mya brings excitement, creativity, and heart to every project she touches.

    Junior Designer

    Ava is studying her last year of Interior Design at Ball State University. A proud Muncie local, she loves the character of downtown and thrives on being part of its creative community.

    At Inland, Ava assists with projects, organizes the material library, and helps bring client visions to life. She’s passionate about creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful—and is always eager to learn something new.

    Shop Dog

    Tilly Mae is everyone’s favorite “employee,” greeting every visitor with a wagging tail and boundless enthusiasm. She happily accepts unlimited pets, though she’s still working on her floor plan skills 😉.
